Defense tenders leave no room for guesswork: every fabric, trim, measurement and test is written into the specification, and the garment must match it exactly. Texpro has produced and shipped bulk military clothing orders from our factories in Savar, Dhaka, for defense suppliers in Europe, and we are ready to produce for defense programmes in the USA and Canada.

This article explains what we make for defense buyers, how we work to a tender specification, and what capacity and compliance we bring.

What we manufacture for defense buyers

  • Combat shirts (UBACS)
  • Field jackets and parkas
  • Softshell tactical jackets
  • Waterproof seam-sealed military outerwear

How we work to a tender specification

We follow the tender document as written, and we confirm every detail with the buyer before bulk production starts.

  1. Specification review: our merchandising team reviews the tech pack, drawings, measurement charts and material specifications, and raises any questions before costing.
  2. Materials from nominated mills: camouflage fabrics and trims come from the mills and suppliers the buyer or tender nominates, so the colours, prints and performance match the approved standard.
  3. Tender samples: we make samples to the exact specification for the buyer's submission and approval.
  4. Bulk production: after approval, we produce to the approved sample and specification, with inspections at every stage.
  5. Documents: we provide our compliance certificates and the documents buyers need for the tender file.

Materials, prints and construction

We build military garments to the specification's materials and construction details, including:

  • Camouflage prints: woodland, multicam, desert and digital patterns, from buyer-nominated mills
  • IR / NIR-compliant prints where the specification requires them
  • Ripstop and reinforced fabrics for durability in the field
  • Seam sealing and waterproofing for military outerwear, using the same process described in our seam-sealing article
  • FR fabric options for flame resistant military garments
  • Mil-spec trims, hook-and-loop panels and labeling to the specification
